About Cedar River Academy

Founded in 2004 as a non-sectarian private school, Cedar River Academy is located in the former J.J. Smith Elementary School building, in downtown Enumclaw. After renovations and redecorating were complete, this campus provides students a safe and cozy learning environment. Cedar River Academy is planning the development of an Enumclaw site as a new campus. See the details in our Campus Development section of our web site.

Enumclaw is located in western Washington State, approximately 45 miles southeast of Seattle, and is beautifully nestled in the foothills of Mount Rainier. With a current population of 11,220, Enumclaw has retained its small town character while benefiting from the growth of the surrounding region. Our central location enables us to regularly take our students into the real world and experience everything the Puget Sound area has to offer. We serve families in the surrounding communities of Maple Valley, Covington, Black Diamond, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Buckley, Auburn, Kent, and other areas of South King County.

Cedar River Academy is currently enrolling students for Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1 through 6.
