About Cedar River Academy
Cedar River Academy is a non-sectarian, independent,
co-educational day school serving students from Kindergarten
through Grade 8 in 2011-2012. Additional grade levels will be
added to our program in succeeding years. The school offers a
nurturing environment in which students can grow and develop
a passion for learning. Our experiential curriculum focuses
on presenting material in a brain-compatible way to make the
learning process more enjoyable and complete.

Program Description Cedar River Academy is managed by a dedicated professional management team. The school is structured to focus on the interests of our students. The Academy's Board of Directors believes parents and faculty must work together in complimentary roles to develop each student's full potential. The management team encourages and supports a strong continuous relationship between parents and Academy faculty. Founded in 2004, we are located at 3333 Griffin Avenue in Enumclaw. This campus provides students a safe and cozy learning environment. Enumclaw is located in western Washington State, approximately 45 miles southeast of Seattle, and is beautifully nestled in the foothills of Mount Rainier. Our central location enables us to regularly take our students into the real world and experience everything the Puget Sound area has to offer. We serve families in the surrounding communities of Maple Valley, Covington, Black Diamond, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Buckley, Auburn, Kent, and other areas of South King County. Cedar River Academy is currently enrolling students for Kindergarten through Grade 8. |
