Building a Generation of Business Leaders

About Us

Cedar River Academy students will pursue a large variety of adult careers. Some will become doctors, lawyers, accountants, educators, engineers, researchers, marketeers, and other professionals. Others will decide to pursue a skilled trade. There is at least one additional option available to Americans, business ownership. The CRA Young Entrepreneurs Club (YEC) provides real experiences to our students in the creation and operation of small businesses. YEC members independently named themselves the CRA Ultrapreneurs.

Beginning with third grade, all CRA students are members of CRA Ultrapreneurs. The club meets once every week to to learn about operating their company and to define, manufacture, and distribute their company's products. Young Ultrapreneurs offer their goods and services at Cedar River Academy Community Markets, and on their website.

All profits from company operations are retained by the Ultrapreneurs and distributed equally to individual students. Their first product, a hand-eye coordination game, will be introduced in February, 2010.
